Home Made Root Beer
5 Gallons cold water
5 pounds white sugar
1 (2 oz) bottle root beer concentrate (you can buy it in the spice section of most stores)
5 Pounds dry ice
Place 4 gallons of the cold water in a large container. Add sugar & stir until dissolved. Pour in root beer extract & mix. Add the dry ice & put the lid on loosely so the gas can escape. Let brew for about 15 min. Add the last gallon of water and let brew for another 15 min. Serves 60

Cheese Fondue
Combine:
¼ C chicken broth
3 T cornstarch
Dash of pepper
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce
Combine these ingredients, stirring until melted:
1 ¾ C chicken broth
1-2 garlic cloves
2 C Swiss cheese, cubed not grated
2 C Monterey jack cheese, cubed not grated
Combine first se of ingredients into cheese mixture after it is melted. Keep stirring & pour into heated fondue pot immediately and serve.
Serve with cut up pieces of French bread, sourdough bread, or crackers. Make sure each piece of bread has crust on it if possible. Lightly toast breast in oven until outside is lightly baked.

Carmel Popcorn
2 C brown sugar
1 can condensed milk
1 sq margarine
1 C white karo
Cook on stove at 225 when checked with a candy thermometer. Pour over large bowl of popcorn.

Mrs. Fields Oatmeal Cookies
2 C brown sugar
2 C sugar
2 C real butter
4 eggs
Cream together, then add:
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla
4 C flour
5 C. oats
Add chocolate chips. Bake @ 375 for 11 min or @ 400 for 8 min

O' Henry Bars
1 C sugar
1 C corn syrup
1 C peanut butter
1 C salted peanuts
1 C chocolate chips
1 C butterscotch chips
3 C rice Krispies
Bring to a boil sugar & syrup. Remove from heat & add peanut butter, rice krispies, & peanuts. Butter 9x13 '' pan, pour mixture in, & let cool. Melt both chips, spread over mixture. Cut into squares.

Double Layer Chocolate Pie
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 T milk
1 T Sugar
1 ½ C cool whip (take form 8 oz)
1 Oreo pie crust
Mix above together & put in chocolate crust . Mix 2 small pkgs. Instant chocolate pudding with 2 cups cold milk (will be thick). Add rest of the 8 oz of cool whip. Pour over first layer & chill. Garnish with a spoonful of cool whip.

No Bake Cookies
1 Cube Butter
2 C sugar
½ C Milk
Boil above ingredients for 2 min. Take off stove

3 C Oats
3 T Cocoa
5 tsp Peanut Butter
½ tsp Vanilla

Cheesecake Brownies
1 Pkg. 19.8 oz brownie Mix
1 Pkg. 8oz cream cheese
1/3 C Sugar
1 Egg
½ tsp Vanilla
Mix Brownies as directed. Pour into Greased 13x9'' pan.
Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar mix until blended. Add egg & vanilla; mix just until blended
Pour cream cheese mixture over brownie mixture; cut through batter with knife several times for marble effect. Bake 350 35-40 min or until cream cheese is lightly brown. (no syrup pouch brownies)

Lemon Bars
1 C butter
2 C Flour
½ C Powdered Sugar
Spread into bottom of pan. Bake for 20 min @ 350
Mix:
4 Beaten eggs
1/3 C Lemon Juice
2 C Sugar
5 T Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
Mixture is thin. Pour on crust & bake 20 Min @ 350 When Finished baking, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Pumpkin Choc Chip Cookies
4 C Flour
2 C Quick Oats
1 C Sugar
1 Egg
2 tsp Baking Soda
2 tsp Cinnamon
1 T Vanilla
1 tsp Salt
1 16oz can Pumpkin
1 C Choc Chips
2 C Brown Sugar
1 ½ C Margarine
Combine flour, oats, soda, cinnamon, & salt. Set aside. Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beat until light and fluffy. Add egg & vanilla. Add Choc Chips then bake @ 350 20-25 min.

¾ C Brown Sugar
½ C Softened Butter
3 C Rice Krispies
½ C Pecans chopped
½ C Almonds Chopped
¾ C Coconut
½ Gallon Vanilla Ice Cream
Cream in butter & sugar Add remaining ingredients. Press into bottom of pan. Spread softened ice cream on top. Freeze! Serve and top with Danish dessert mix with fresh raspberries or strawberries.

Raspberry Homemade Ice Cream

1 pt cream
2 bags frozen raspberries
2 ½ - 3 C sugar

3-4 mashed bananas

Makes 4 Quarts
4 large eggs
2 C sugar
2 tsp vanilla
½ tsp salt
1 (12oz) can evaporated milk
1 quart whipping cream

Banana Ice Cream
4 eggs
2 C sugar
5 C milk (2%)
3-4 C Cream
3 tsp vanilla
½ tsp salt
1 large package instant banana cream pudding
3 ripe bananas, mashed
Beat eggs, add sugar & rest of the ingredients. Mix & freeze, then add 2-3 cups broken vanilla wafers (which have been broken ahead of time & placed in a bowl in the freezer). Stir cookies in so they are well mixed. Pack & freeze hard if desired.

Orange Julius
½ of 6 oz can frozen orange juice concentrate
½ C milk
½ C water
¼ C sugar
½ tsp vanilla
10-12 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in blender, cover and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.

Fruit Slush
5 mashed bananas
1 large can pineapple juice
1 12 oz can lemonade concentrate
1 12 oz can orange juice concentrate
2-3 C sugar
5 C water
Mix together & freeze. Let soften slightly & spoon into punch bowl or individual glasses. Pour lemon lime soda over slush.
